Job Overview & Work Site

Your Role:

As a Full-Time Front Desk Administrator, you will play a crucial role in our outpatient services team. Your responsibilities will include managing front desk duties and actively participating as a Physical Therapy Technician. This role requires flexibility to work both roles, in our clinic located in Hoover, Alabama.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in-person and over the phone.
  • Manage patient interactions, including check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing.
  • Coordinate the initiation of care with therapy staff and external agencies.
  • Maintain staff productivity through effective visit distribution.
  • Act as a liaison between therapy staff, other agency personnel, and administrators.
  • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans.
  • Guide patients through prescribed exercise programs under supervision.
  • Build strong relationships with clients.
  • Assist with equipment setup and maintain clean treatment areas.
  • Support with data entry and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

License & Experience

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate: additional education preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a front office setting (healthcare environment preferred for Front Desk Administrator).
  • Willingness to learn and work within a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work in the clinic located in Cullman, Alabama
